Greetings all and welcome to my blog. First, you're probably asking what's up with the name. Well, the short and quick of it is that I really like bisons and I really like kayaking. And face it, the name catches your attention. Second, you're probably asking what is the purpose this blog. Super simple answer, this is where I give my review and opinion of bodies of water from a kayaking perspective. This will probably focus on New Hampshire waters more than anywhere else. This is my state and I love it here. We have some beautiful mountains and some equally beautiful lakes and rivers which I feel people should take more advantage of. The reason that I feel the need to voice my opinion is pretty simple as well, I've bought a couple books and Googled high and low and I've never been excited by what I have found for information in regards to kayaking. The one book that is supposed to be the best, I have found to be quite dated and really only talked about the good places. So in this modern world I figured a blog that can be constantly updated is the best way to go. I will talk about the goods and the bads. After all, not every body of water is a great place for a kayaker. I will always put dates to my reviews and update reviews as I return to locations. As I establish this blog I'll be working a bit from an old memory just to get things established so if someone had information to the contrary, please speak up.
At the end of every review I will have my bullet point summary of things us kayakers typically care about. I will use the scientifically accepted 1 to 5 bison rating system. Additionally, I love my technology so I will probably have a GPS log from my trips to present as well. Just a bit of a reference point for you all.
I hope you find my information helpful and please feel free to ask questions if I ever miss anything.
